PRECISION STACK
Game Details
Precision Stack is a precision-based arcade challenge where you stack 3D blocks as high as possible by dropping them at the perfect moment. Blocks slide back and forth along alternating axes, and you must time your drops to align them perfectly with the stack below. Each successful placement adds to your score, while imperfect cuts reduce the block size. Features gradually increasing speed, progressive difficulty, and 3D graphics. Test your timing and precision to build the ultimate tower.

HOW TO PLAY
CONTROLS:
- Desktop: Press SPACEBAR or click/tap on the game canvas to drop blocks
- Mobile/Tablet: Tap the screen to drop blocks
- Fullscreen: Click the fullscreen button for an immersive experience
BASIC MECHANICS:
1. Starting the Game: The game begins with a base block on the ground. Click or press SPACEBAR to start stacking.
2. Block Movement:
- Each new block slides back and forth automatically
- Blocks alternate between moving on the X-axis (left-right) and Z-axis (front-back)
- Blocks bounce between boundaries, reversing direction when they reach the edge
- Movement speed starts slow and increases every 8 blocks
3. Dropping Blocks:
- Press SPACEBAR or tap/click to drop the moving block
- The block falls and lands on top of the stack
- Timing is crucial—drop when the block aligns with the one below
4. Perfect Alignment:
- Dropping a block with near-perfect alignment (within 0.05 units) counts as a "perfect" placement
- Perfect placements trigger a visual flash effect
- Each perfect placement adds to your perfect streak counter
- Perfect blocks don't get cut—they stack exactly as dropped
5. Imperfect Cuts:
- When blocks don't align perfectly, only the overlapping portion remains
- The non-overlapping parts fall off as cut pieces
- Your new block size equals the overlap area
- Future blocks will be based on this smaller size
6. Comeback System:
- Achieve 3 perfect placements in a row to trigger a comeback
- The comeback resets your block size back to the initial size (up to 10 units)
- This gives you a second chance after making mistakes
- The perfect streak counter resets after using a comeback
7. Speed Progression:
- Every 8 blocks successfully placed increases the movement speed
- Speed increment: +0.025 per increase
- Starting speed: 0.12 units per frame
- Faster blocks require quicker reactions and better timing
8. Scoring:
- Each successfully placed block (even if cut) adds 1 point to your score
- Perfect placements provide visual feedback but follow the same scoring
- Your high score is saved in browser storage
9. Game Over:
- The game ends when you completely miss the stack below
- If the entire block falls off without any overlap, it's game over
- Your final score and high score are displayed
- Press SPACEBAR or tap to restart
STRATEGIC TIPS:
- Timing is Everything: Watch the block's movement pattern and predict when it will align. The longer you wait, the harder it gets.
- Perfect Placement Priority: Aim for perfect alignments whenever possible. The comeback system can save you after mistakes.
- Speed Adaptation: As blocks move faster, anticipate their position rather than reacting to where they are. Lead your drops slightly ahead.
- Visual Alignment: Use the visual overlap between the moving block and the stack below to judge timing. Watch for when they appear centered.
- Comeback Planning: Save your perfect streaks for when you really need them. If your block is getting small, focus on achieving those 3 perfects in a row.
- Axis Awareness: Remember which axis (X or Z) the block is moving on. This affects how you judge alignment.
- Size Management: Each cut makes your blocks smaller. The smaller they get, the harder alignment becomes. Use comebacks strategically.
- Reaction Speed: Practice quick decision-making. Sometimes it's better to drop slightly imperfect than to wait and miss entirely.
- Focus on the Center: Always aim for the center of the stack below. Even if not perfect, centering gives the most overlap.
ADVANCED TECHNIQUES:
- Prediction Method: Instead of watching the current position, predict where the block will be when you want to drop it. Account for reaction time.
- Rhythm Timing: Develop a sense of rhythm with the block's movement. Some players find it easier to drop on consistent timing rather than visual cues.
- Speed Adaptation: Learn to adjust your timing as speed increases. What works at slow speed won't work when blocks move faster.
- Comeback Timing: Don't waste comebacks on blocks that are already a good size. Save them for when blocks have become dangerously small.
- Visual Depth: Use the 3D perspective to better judge alignment. The camera angle can help you see overlap more clearly.
- Momentum Reading: Understand how blocks bounce at boundaries. Sometimes dropping right after a bounce gives you more time to judge.
- Precision Practice: The perfect placement window is very small (0.05 units). Practice achieving perfects consistently to build your streak.
- Risk Management: When your block is very small, sometimes it's better to aim for a guaranteed small placement rather than risk a complete miss going for perfect.
WINNING AND SCORING:
- Score System: Each successfully placed block adds 1 point, regardless of whether it was perfect or cut.
- High Score: Your highest score is saved in browser storage. Try to beat your personal best.
- Tower Height: Build your tower as high as possible. Higher towers mean longer gameplay and more points.
- Perfect Streaks: While not directly scored, achieving perfect streaks enables comebacks that can significantly extend your game.
- Personal Challenge: See how many blocks you can stack before making a fatal mistake. Higher scores require consistent precision.
