Poncle’s minimalist bullet-hell hit *Vampire Survivors* has been ported to VR, letting players experience the gaudy chaos up close on Meta Quest headsets.
Vampire Survivors VR bundles two DLC expansions and puts the chaos directly in front of you.
Vampire Survivors VR is available now for Meta Quest 2, Quest 3, Quest 3S, and Quest Pro. The VR edition includes the Legacy of the Moonspell and Tides of the Foscari expansions built in, so players get extra characters, stages, weapons, and enemies without separate purchases. The title is priced at $10 on Quest storefronts (compared with $5 on platforms like Steam), reflecting the bundled DLC content.
The core gameplay stays true to the original: equip multiple weapons, level up rapidly, collect gold, buy permanent and temporary upgrades, and try to survive increasingly ridiculous waves of enemies. The translation to VR aims to amplify the sensory overload—bullets, enemies, and particle effects all happening around you—while keeping the tight, addictive loop that made the original a breakout indie success.
Poncle is also collaborating with Auroch Digital on a Warhammer-themed follow-up called Warhammer Survivors, which will reuse the Vampire Survivors engine to deliver grimdark enemies and weapons in 2026 on PC.
