Once you’ve completed enough raids and unlocked Stella Montis, Arc Raiders’ first post-launch map, you’ll gain access to Lance’s quest In My Image. This mission asks you to locate and loot three androids scattered across the sprawling new zone — but finding them is trickier than it sounds.

Androids appear across Stella Montis, but only certain ones can actually be looted.

Before heading in, note that you do not need to extract from Stella Montis to complete this quest. That means you’re free to bring a completely risk-free loadout and explore without worrying about losing gear. It’s a great opportunity to roam the labyrinth of corridors, camps, and broken industrial structures while tracking down androids.

Once you’re ready, here’s how to complete In My Image as efficiently as possible.

Where To Find Androids for the In My Image Quest

While androids can appear on other maps, only the androids located in Stella Montis will progress this quest. They resemble the humanoid robots from Blue Gate’s lower levels, but their placement and interactivity vary dramatically.

The bad news: spawn locations change every match, so there’s no single guaranteed spot.

The good news: androids are fairly common, and with a bit of searching, you can usually find all three in a single run.

You’ll frequently find androids slumped against walls, lying across stairways, or collapsed in hallways. However, not all of them are usable — some are static props. Only androids that show a loot icon when you approach them can be interacted with.

If you’re not spotting them in the same rooms we did, don’t worry — Stella Montis has plenty. Check side rooms, corners, and spots slightly outside your direct line of sight. Androids can spawn in unexpected places, so sweeping with intention helps a lot.

After looting three androids, the quest will complete immediately. Simply head to a Stella Montis extraction point, avoid raiders and Shredder patrols, and return to Lance in Speranza to continue the storyline.
