One of the Nintendo Switch’s best games just got a rare price cut as part of Walmart’s first Black Friday 2025 Deals Event. From now until November 16—or until it sells out—Super Mario Bros. Wonder is available for only $43 (normally $60). These Mario Wonder deals tend to vanish quickly, so early shoppers may want to jump on it ASAP. Switch 2 owners can also take advantage of the offer now and pay for the upgrade next spring when the Switch 2 Edition launches.

Switch 2 users can also save on the newest Mario Party entry, with Super Mario Party Jamboree + Jamboree TV discounted to $63 (was $80)—the lowest price yet for the upcoming Switch 2 Edition.

Note that these particular Black Friday offers are sold by a third-party and fulfilled by Walmart, which is normal during large seasonal promotions. Walmart’s extended holiday return window applies, giving shoppers free returns until January 31, 2026. The deal is limited to Walmart+ members until 9 PM PT on November 13, when it becomes open to everyone. Given how quickly Mario Wonder tends to sell out during early access periods, opting for Walmart+ may be worthwhile for those who don’t want to risk missing the deal.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder released in October 2023 and became an instant hit. It marked the first brand-new 2D Mario platformer in over a decade (not counting Mario Maker 2). It earned a 9/10 in GameSpot’s review thanks to its smooth platforming, inventive stage designs, fun new power-ups, and gorgeous visuals. The Wonder effects add surprising twists to nearly every level, and—yes—it’s great fun playing as Elephant Mario.

Wonder already performs beautifully on both the Switch and Switch 2, but the experience is set to improve even further with the Switch 2 Edition releasing in Spring 2026. This upgraded version—titled Super Mario Bros. Wonder + Meetup in Bellabel Park—adds a new suite of multiplayer modes.

Owners of the original version will be able to upgrade via the eShop for a fee. Nintendo hasn’t confirmed pricing yet, but based on other Switch 2 Editions, the upgrade will likely cost around $20.

Players can also grab the physical edition of Super Mario Party Jamboree + Jamboree TV for $63 (was $80). This World Edition includes the full North American release, just without an ESRB logo on the box.
